Dr Raj Singh

Dr Raj Singh is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist in Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Singh graduated with Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the University of Otago, New Zealand on a Doctoral scholarship. Following completion of the DClinDent, Dr Singh was accepted for Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist field of Prosthodontics. He also holds Masters in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from University College London (with distinction), and Master of Dental Surgery (Prosthodontics) from India. In 2012, Dr Singh received a Fellowship of International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a member of the New Zealand Association of Prosthodontists and Restorative Dentists, international team for Implantology and the academy of Oral Implantology.
Before relocating to Melbourne, Dr Singh worked as a Specialist Prosthodontist at the University of Otago, New Zealand. During his tenure in New Zealand, he was also a clinical tutor and examiner for undergraduate dental students at the University of Otago, New Zealand. Recently, he served as one of a specialist Prosthodontist lead for Monash Health Dental Intern Program and thesis examiner for doctoral students at Melbourne Dental School. Presently, Dr Singh is a clinical demonstrator for undergraduate students at Melbourne Dental School.
Dr Singh’s recent research focus is on high translucent monolithic zirconia restorative material and dental implants. He has several publications in international peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants, Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials, Materials, New Zealand Dental Journal, International Journal of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Dental Implants and Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society.
Outside of work Dr Singh enjoys travelling, walking, indoor games and gardening.
